Tatoo Magic of Legend Part 1 (RQII and Legend rpg)

I have really enjoyed my read through of Legend. I'm thinking about porting a game I wanted to run over to Legend. But one of the players is dead set on using tattoo magic. So I thought I would take a swing at converting (as well as adding a few) Tattoo magic over to legend. Focusing mostly on the tattoos he actually plans on using. And tattoo spells I'm going to allow in the game.

Tattoos take an investment of the characters power. Every tattoo take a permanent investment of one power point just as a cult might require.

I'm going to use common magic as a model for tattoo magic since i don't feel it is a "scholarly" magic.

Tattoos:

Weapon Tattoo (Melee)
Duration 5, Magnitude 1-2.
If this spell is successful, a common melee weapon is summoned. It can be anything from a dagger to a great sword. Smaller weapons take are magnitude 1. Larger 2-handed weapons are magnitude 2. The tattoo is always of the weapon being summoned.

Weapon Tattoo (Ranged)

Duration 5, Magnitude 2.
If this spell is successful, a common ranged weapon is summoned. It can be a short horse bow or a long bow.  The tattoo is always of the weapon being summoned.

Enhancing Weapon Tattoo (Melee)
Duration 5, Magnitude 1, progressive.
If this spell is successful, Melee weapon held by the caster is effected by magic. It will cause some visual effect from a glowing aura to flames coming from the blade. The exact effect is chosen by the look of the tattoo. During the effect damage is added based on the magnitude level.
Magnitude:      Damage:
1                     +1d4
2                     +1d6
3                     +1d8
4                     +1d10
5                     +1d12
The tattoo is of a melee weapon effected by what ever effect is chosen when the tattoo is applied. For example a flaming sword, a dagger covered in Ice, Or lightning swirling around a great sword.

Enhancing Weapon Tattoo (Ranged)
Duration 5, Magnitude 1, progressive.

If this spell is successful, a ranged weapon held by the caster is effected by magic. It will cause some visual effect from a glowing aura to flames coming from the weapon. The exact effect is chosen by the look of the tattoo. During the effect damage is added missiles fired based on the magnitude level.
Magnitude:      Damage:
1                     +1d4

2                     +1d6
3                     +1d8
4                     +1d10
5                     +1d12
The tattoo is of a ranged weapon effected by what ever effect is chosen when the tattoo is applied. For example a flaming bow, a crossbow covered in Ice, Or lightning swirling around a arrow.

Strength
Enhance Natural Ability
Instant, Magnitude 1, Progressive, Trigger
This tattoo is often a rune or a symbolic picture embodying a single attribute. One attribute is chosen as the target when this tattoo is created. This spell grants the caster a +10% bonus per point of Magnitude to his next Skill Test if the skill is effected by the chosen attribute. So for example a Tattoo with the rune of dexterity could be used to enhance roll for dance, drive, evade or any other skill that's base value is derived from Dexterity attribute.

Working on Part 2.
